Introduction to Three Dimensional Design
Class Description
This class introduces the fundamentals of 3D design through three hands-on projects, each exploring different materials: wire, cardboard, and foam. Participants will begin by working with wire, translating their sketches into small sculptures by bending and wrapping the material, learning how to transform lines into three-dimensional forms. Next, they will move on to cardboard, creating stackable layers to explore depth and planes. Finally, participants will work with foam, shaping and assembling it to craft fully realized 3D objects, refining their skills in carving and construction to produce finished sculptures.
Price
$100 for members and $110 for non-members. Members use the code 3DESIGN for your discount!
Dates & Times
This class meets on Saturdays, December 7th through January 11th from 12 – 2 pm.
